The Truth Will Set You Free was a motion capture-driven projection piece that traveled from the LUMA Projection Art Festival to IAMAI at Burning Man 2018 in Black Rock City, Nevada.

I led technical direction and motion capture, building the pipeline from performer capture through real-time rendering to large-format projection in radically different environments — a downtown building facade and the open desert.

Adapting a technical projection installation from a controlled urban environment to the dust and chaos of Burning Man tested every assumption about portability, durability, and workflow flexibility.
