Jacolby Satterwhite: A Metta Prayer
A Metta Prayer brought Jacolby Satterwhite’s dense, layered digital worlds into physical space at The Met. The work fuses motion-captured performance, 3D animation, and video collage into an immersive environment that interrogates the boundaries between the virtual and the embodied.
As technical advisor and creative producer, I guided the translation of Satterwhite’s digital practice into a museum-scale installation, bridging his studio workflow with the technical demands of one of the world’s most visited institutions.
The project deepened an ongoing collaboration between emerging technology and contemporary art at the highest institutional level.
